  1. I’m looking at purchasing a used 2022 Trail Boss 6.2L 10 speed with 10,000 miles. It has the new exterior and interior like the current new trucks. Anybody else own one of these and have recommendations of how good or bad their truck has treated them? So far on the test drive I noticed the back seat rattling. It seems this is a common issue for some and that it can be fixed. I also noticed a little rattle in the lowest drivers side compartment of the console when the radio is turned up. Any other rattles that I should be expecting? I’m coming from a 2018 Silverado and that thing is full of rattles and vibrations, so I want away from the noises.
  2. I know this is old, but figured somebody might float across this forum soon. I recently put a Zone 4.5 in Lift on my 18’ Silverado. It drives very good and seems to handle super well considering it’s the “budget lift.” I still spent over 2 grand on lift and install so I wouldn’t consider it budget I installed rear Fox shocks that come with the lift on its website. My truck rides much better than it did stock. I used 22 inch rims off a 2022 Yukon Denali. New 285/55/R22 Falken Wildpeak tires. Overall it’s a good lift and it’s a practical height. The only little annoyance is the front track pushing out. I believe it sticks out 1.5 inches, so wheel spacers on the back are good to make it look even. I put 1.25 inch rear spacers BUT I can tell the front sticks out a little farther which looks bad in my opinion.
  3. Yes, I bought an extended warranty from the dealership that covers nearly everything. Goes until 2028 or 100,000 miles. I might just take it in to question the noise anyways.
  4. I'll take a video of it tonight and post it here.
  5. I have a 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the 6.2L engine. It has 42,600 miles on it. I bought it over the summer of 2023, so it has plenty of warranty left on it, luckily. I’ve noticed lately that the engine has a bad knocking or slapping sound when it starts in the cold (under 32 degrees Fahrenheit). I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this and what they did to fix it. It sounds the same way my 2002 5.3 Tahoe would knock in the cold. I don’t appreciate a nearly brand new truck knocking the same way my 22 year old Tahoe knocks. Should I bring my truck into the dealership to have them diagnose an issue? Is this normal?
