  1. Yes it reset the oil monitor. I go in every time i go on a trip witch is about every 3 weeks so that monitor doesn't do me any good I am quite ****** about maintenance. Just wish this truck dident have so many issues after I drove it a while and the codes reset -_- .... Jokes on him tho wasent a blown head gasket was a bad oil pump lol
  2. Ok so removing the fuse dident work. Resetting the gauges dident work but what did work to reset the gauge was too remove positive and negative terminal and ground them together then the gauge reset
  3. So I was doin some maintenance and replaced my battery when I jumped in to redo my settings i noticed my speedo is maxed out . Is there a way to reset my dash? I tryed the turn ignition on tap gas 3 times to the floor but nothing happened.
  4. Had bad weather so haven't Ben able to get under . But I did notice when parking I have no power steering with new pump and lines installed and about a 1 inch play in steering if that helps figure this out. No rain today going to try to get out after lunch to do it
  5. Hello all I am new here . I have Ben trying to figure this out since I bought it last month. I have a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 with the vortex 5.3 Had no codes or issues when I got it. Got it home next day 1 code 2 lights and a clunk sound. The clunk sound is mainly when I go left or right and I have allot of tire whear on driver's outer tire. I was thinking it was miss aligned because the previous owner had rebuilt the whole front end with new parts and from a name brand krypton . Any ideas on what to start with would be appreciated this thing has Ben a money pit since I bought it. Thermostat was leaking replaced that to over heat slightly to have a bad radiator replaced that to turn AC on the end up replacing water pump and altinator went out 3 days ago had to replace oh and I have no power steering and a bad leak so I replace the power steering pump aswell(still no real power steering ) Anyways off topic and rambling now. I've Ben working on this thing since I got it and finally down to last 3 main issues
