  1. I bought an extension cable from Pasternak that I extended from the camera end. If you need the connector that plugs into the bumper jack, I don’t know. They were very helpful and have made also made cables to move the bumper camera jack into the truck bed.
  2. We have a 2021 2500HD High Country. Our new fifth wheel came pre-wired with a furrion wireless camera. Found out there were documented technology issues with the voltage carried on the 7 pin that recognizes the wireless camera so we switched to the GM wired camera to also eliminate the extra screen. Our trailer is too long for the invisible trailer to work. I think 32’ is what they say - it’s a problem with geometry and physics. Also have to mount the camera low. I assume not having extendable towing mirrors would shorten the length it works for. When I bought our camera I plugged it in at the dealership and it worked without a trailer being connected. I think I had to plug it in with the truck off first. Hope this helps.
  3. I've been searching for similar issues. Have a 2021 2500HD High Country and a 2020 Montana 5th wheel. My issue is very similar. Camera works fine for 3-4 hours then video screen goes haywire. Doesn't go black immediately but eventually does. After sitting for some time will restart just fine again for 3-4 hours. Have had it to the dealer three times. 1st time did some type of reprogramming - no change. 2nd time replace video processing module - no change. 3rd time tried to recreate and couldn't. Now want my trailer to be brought in with my truck.
  4. Hoping someone still checks this thread. I have a 2021 2500HD High Country and a 2020 40’ Montana 5th wheel. Last spring bought the GM camera after wireless issues with Furrion camera. Mounted the camera high and ran the cable down the ladder and underneath through pvc conduit. Fished it through to the hitch near the 7 pin cable. Want to move the camera jack from the bumper to the bed but haven’t yet because of the problem. Everything works great until it doesn’t. After several months, when towing for 3-4 hours video display goes haywire then black. After resting for a while will start and work fine for 3-4 hours again. Have had it to the dealer 3 times. 1st time did some type of reprogramming - no change. 2nd time replaced video processing module - no change. 3rd time they tried to recreate and couldn’t. Now they want my trailer with my truck. Anyone with any new info?
  5. Have a 2020 Keystone Montana 3741FK (40’ 5th wheel) and read through this whole thread and many others last year. Had issues with the wireless camera and decided to buy the GM camera. Mounted it high and ran the cable down the ladder and underneath in pvc conduit. Fished through to the hitch near the 7 pin cable. Want to move the camera jack from the bumper to the bed but haven’t yet because of a problem. Everything works great (we do get a little fish eye) until it doesn’t. After 3-4 hours of towing the video display goes haywire. Have had it to the dealership three times. 1st time did some type of reprogramming - no change. 2nd time replaced video processing module - no change. 3rd time they tried to recreate problem and couldn’t - now they want my trailer along with my truck. Wondering if anyone has seen or heard of a similar issue.
