So here's the deal: I have a 2010 Silverado LTZ. It currently has a 5.3 with about 178k miles one it. It rides okay, honestly there's nothing wrong with the engine save for it could probably use a gasket refresh given its milage, but it drives just fine down the road. I see on facebook a guy near me is selling a 6.0 from a 1999 something. He has the block, crank, heads and I believe pistons too. Its a sweet deal for what he's asking. So predictably, im asking you guys if this swap is possible for me and if so, what all would it take? A gear head buddy of mine mentioned the reluctor wheels are different (24x-58x) but I don't know. Any tips or advice? Thanks in advance guys! P.S.: would I have to swap the transmission too?
