I have a 2014 Silverado Z71 with 171,000 miles. V4 mode deleted. I had the check engine light come on and start flashing for about 20 seconds and then went away on its own. The truck has gone through several on/off cycles and the light is still off. Code reader shows 3 codes as listed below :
Primary code -
P06DD Engine Oil Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Stuck Off.
Secondary codes -
P0307 Cylinder 7 misfire Detected
P0128 Engine Coolant Temp Below Thermostat Regulating Temp
The truck has good oil pressure usually between 60 and 30 depending on how you drive or if I’m at a red light. Some forums said that the Cylinder 7 misfire can make the Oil Pump code come of for no reason and I don’t understand how that could be anything to do with it since I figured that meant it’s time for new spark plugs but I’d like some input on this before I bring it to a shop because I was told the oil pump is about $2400 in labor.
I think the Thermostat code is because of the V4 mode being deleted I’ve heard some people put a different thermostat in after doing that.the truck runs around 190 degrees all the time and the check engine light come on every so often during cold weather but it’s rare and only lasts one or 2 cycles. I’ve planned on changing the thermostat just to see.
There’s also a random Vibration that comes up every now and then almost like your touching the side of the interstate or the bumps before a stop sign it’s just a quick vibration and o can’t pinpoint where from it feels like it’s from the back sometimes and it feels like it’s dead center sometimes. Doesn’t feel like anything to be very worried about but I do wanna figure it out and fix it
Any Input on any of these issues would be appreciated.
