Low oil pressure when coming to a stop the cam over advances and sticks while trying to restart it. This can be seen by watching the desired cmp angle and actual cmp angle. Do an engine flush, change your oil to 15-20 or 20-50 and add a quart of engine oil stabilizer. This has worked for me after checking all electrical possibilities from grounds to a new eco. Another option is a vvt delete. To have a shop do it with tune would run around 3k. Another option is to bump up the idle per a tune say 150 rpm keeping the oil pressure up high enough to keep it from causing issue with the cam/timing. A tune may run a few hundred dollars depending on your area. I’ve invested many hours into this issue. Hope this helps someone. #SkeltonsShop Henrietta Tx
