GIRL HOG

Well shoot. Thanks for the input. I never really liked the ABS when it worked because it would engage when I drove over a bump in the road - very annoying. I only miss it now when it rains, which is not very often here in Southern California. I guess the black tape I put over the now permanently illuminated ABS light on the dash is the only fix. Thanks again!

1996 GMC 2500. ABS control module has died. Mechanic says they do not make new modules anymore. I looked around on-liine and was unable to find one either. One from a junkyard would just be another 25-year-old module. Any thoughts? Thanks!
