  1. I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 and am looking for a rivet style fender flare to paint and install. Not necessarily concerned about ease of install, but definitely want a quality product that will fit right and not have gaps/shake. Please share your experience with me. Thank you!!
  2. After looking at what seems like 1,000 pics on Custom Offset’s page, it looks most of the RC 5”-6” lifts still leave a noticeable rake on the truck. I’m looking for any feedback/experience on this. If so, would a Bilstein 5100 front strut, set at the second setting (about 3/4”) be a reasonable solution? I really appreciate any help, thank you.
  3. I am looking to tune my 2017 Silverado, 6.2L, 8 speed trans. Can anyone recommend a local tuner in Michigan?? I am near Saginaw/Midland, but would be willing to travel. Unless anyone could recommend a non-custom option. I am looking for a little more low end power/throttle response, smoother shift patterns, and any increase in mpg possible. I have deleted the muffler and flapper valve, have a range tech for V4 delete, and have a CAI. I truly appreciate and feedback or guidance you can give me. Thank you!
  4. I was shocked at the increase in sound, I was not expecting that. I am fine with whatever marginal gains it gives or not, but glad to hear it’s not my engine having issues!
  5. OK, cool! I knew it would increase the sound, I guess I was just surprised on how much sound it increased by! Like I said, I do like it, I just wanted to make sure that was normal.
  6. I have a 2017 Silverado 1500, 6.2. I recently installed the S and B filters cold air intake. First off, I was extremely impressed by the quality of this kit, the ease of installation, and the fitment. I highly recommend it! After taking off the stock airbox and filter, it is clear that it was built in large part for noise reduction. This leads me to my question. When driving around under normal conditions, I hear a slightly deeper engine tone and growl, Which is great, that’s the reason I bought it. However, when the truck is under heavy throttle and acceleration, especially when towing, I would say “growl” is an understatement. It’s not deafening, but it’s more than noticeable. To be honest, I thought there may be an issue with the engine based on how much different it sounded. I kinda like it, although the wife hasn’t heard it yet and she may disagree. I guess my question is, has anyone had a similar experience with their CAI and I just wanted to make sure this is normal and there really isn’t an issue I don’t know about. I don’t notice any performance drops or lights coming on, so I tend to think it is just the air intake. Thank you!
  7. I saw those window reveals, yes… but what is the difference between those and these ones?! https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-rear-passenger-side-door-window-belt-reveal-molding-23227173 They are over twice the cost. When my chrome ones came off, they had the clips like the ones that cost more… I’m unclear about the difference.
  8. I have chrome trim under my windows (GM calls it a window reveal). 2017 Silverado LTZ. I am looking to trade it with someone who has black. Must be in great condition, as mine are, and for a crew cab. I know it’s less likely, but I would also love to trade my chrome handles for white ones if interested. Collectively, the OEM trim for all four doors is about $400 and the handles are outrageous, like $650. If there are no takers on trading, does anyone have an idea where I can get them cheaper? Thank you!!
