  1. Truck is a 14 Sierra z71. my stock shocks are beyond blown truck rides horrible. went ahead and ordered the Eibach Coilover kit for my truck. Starting to have second thoughts as everyone raves about the 6112. Eibach ease of adjustment was very appealing to me but if the billstiens ride a lot better I would switch. Anyone have comparison of these two kits ? If they are going to both be great I’ll just stick with the Eibachs. Couldn’t find a thread directly comparing these two . also side note I’ll be fine on stock UCA for about a 2.25 lift in the front ? Should I leave or cut bump stops ?
  2. Thanks for response . So would you just go with that kit or are there better parts to use where I could spec my own kit out .
  3. I have a 2014 Sierra with the 5.3. Wanting to get a cam installed and delete the AFM system to help with reliability. From what I have heard BTR cams are the way To go on these trucks. I found this kit for a BTR cam and AFM delete. Are all the parts in this kit what’s recomended? Anything else I should do while Im in there? Let me know if you think some of these parts should be swapped for anything better. Here is the kit I am looking at. https://www.glennsautoperformance.com/products/btr-gen-v-2014-gm-truck-dod-delete-kit-w-btr-truck-cam-kit-l83-l86-5-3l-6-2l also while I’m on this topic can anyone speak for whether other mods like headers, CAI or l86 intake mani would be worth it for power before I get a tune?
  4. I have a 2014 Sierra slt z71 with the stock rancheros. right now I have a 2 inch level spacer and the ride height looks perfect. However it rides pretty bad. I’m assuming it’s a lot to do with my stock shocks being at 100k but whenever I am off-road and I hit many consecutive small bumps my front end starts to bounce uncontrollably. Feels like the front end bottoms out and wheels leave the ground. Not sure if I need more travel or just better shocks. sounds like the 5100s are the way to go. If I wanted best ride possible should I ditch the spacer and max the 5100s lift. have the 5100 stock height with spacer. Or even somewhere in the middle and have like a 1 inch spacer on a middle lift setting on shocks. Not sure if this is a travel issue or a shock issue so would like some input on this.
  5. I have a 14 sierra CC 4x4 on stock 20 inch flakes with a 2 inch front level. I just ordered nitto recon grapplers in the size 295 60 r20. I know this will be tight but I wanted to see if running spacers would help, and also if anyone has experience with this size tire and how much if any trimming or modifications to make them fit. Thanks.
  6. 2014 Sierra 1500 slt 4x4 Just got my 2 inch level on, I am on stock 20 inch snowflake wheels. I think I have decided on getting 295 60 r20 tires which is around a 34”. Just want to make sure that these will not rub? I Plan on throwing spacers on too. Also looking for tire recommendations, would like the best budget tire. Hoping to spend around 12-1500$ for a tire that will be bearable on road and still good off-road. Let me know any recommendations. Would like to avoid spending 2k on Tires if possible.
  7. Main reason for level was just cost, didn’t realize rough country made a 3.5 inch lift for 500$. Would something like that be any good ? i was under the impression if I want proper lift it would be over 1k all day.
  8. 2014 GMC Sierra z71 4x4 I am super conflicted between 2 and 2.5 inch spacer level. I want the 2.5 for looks but I’ve heard many say 2 inch is max before suspension issues, some say it’s 2.5. I know there’s not a magic number where issues appear but can anyone say they have ran a 2.5 issues and blown a ball joint, uca, cv etc? I do lots of off-roading not sure if that makes the answer any more obvious. Any opinions would be appreciated so I can go ahead and get this level ordered.
  9. Hi, I have 2014 sierra slt 4x4 and It is on the stock 20 in snowflake wheels. I would like to get some bigger grapplers on there for the tires, just am new to trucks and a bit lost with the suspension upgrades. If i was to do just say a 2 inch level would I be able to fit 35 inch tires or would this essentially limit me to 33's? also are there any lifts as budget friendly as say a level to get bigger tires on or is level the only cheap option and then actual lifts would cost a lot more? Essentially just want to increase my ground clearance for off-roading and improve the looks. Obviously new to trucks so any input would be appreciated.
