I have a 17 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5.3 and 8 speed transmission. months back I had an issue with the active grade braking constantly kicking on, didn't matter if I was on flat ground or not every time I let off the accelerator even without hitting the brakes it would come on. After countless hours of investigating the issue ended up being a bad brake switch behind the pedal. Now fast forward few months and I'm back to having the exact same issue. my question is what could be causing the brake switch to keep going bad, or what other issue could be going on that I'm not realizing.
