  1. I have a chrome grill, thought of that too.
  2. I reached out that that company and found out that is made for their bumpers. It wouldn't be a bolt-on for standard tag.
  3. I typed up a long response last night and apparently didn't hit submit. I was thinking about looking beside and behind the license plate. Several companies make a spring loaded flip-up plate that you can hide a winch or hitch. I was thinking about trying something like that if I don't have room beside the tags. On my truck I feel that is probably my best option I just haven't looked around to see what all is in that area. Relentless Fabrication makes this, but still need to confirm it will bolt-up for my use. Just emailed them for more information on this product.
  4. screenshot of the pdf file, download the PDF print "Actual Size" and trim down with scissors. Can check confirm scale by measuring the 2" dimension. The anchor bolts are my best guess don't use my template to mark and drill holes!
  5. Not yet. Been busy with the holidays. I have found lots of post where people drill out the chrome bumper or fender. One post on a different model truck he crawled under the truck and drilled the plastic right behind the bumper and another one where they drilled the wheel well liner plastic . Looked very clean but hoping for more ideas. I made a template to print out and look myself one evening when the weather warms up a bit. You can print the NOCO GCP1.pdf without scaling and get an idea what might work. I plan on sharing photos of what others have done. I just haven't found the time to post anything yet. The anchor bolts are my best guess don't use my template to mark and drill holes! NOCO GCP1.pdf NOCO GCP1 15A 125V AC Port Plug.pdf
  6. Looking for install ideas with photos to add an AC Port plug to my truck. I don't run my truck enough to keep my battery in topped up. Planning on permanently installing a NOCO GENIUS 2D battery maintainer. I found several examples on Dodge, Ford and older Silverados but not much for the 2014-2018 models.
  7. I'm not wanting to piece together a bunch of wiring harnesses. I believe cetain trim models Escalade between 2014- 2018 came with everything from the factory. Guessing Phil knows this and not sharing what is interchangeable. I am just am going to have to take time off from work and find someone at the dealership to get the the wiring diagrams and part numbers and work up my own swap.
  8. WELL.... it has been a month and still haven't gotten a response. Still doing some research on my own. Wondering if I can get a door harnesses from Escalade with the light up exterior handles and power fold mirrors to make it a simple bolt-on upgrades. I know the keyless entry will not work. Just swap out the mirrors, switch, door harnesses and probably run new wires for the back seat handles? I haven't found the correct year and trim level to compare the pin outs on the harness yet.
  9. @pgamboa I still haven't heard if this is do able or if you needed any more details about my truck? I also may be interested in doing the light up door handle upgrade at the same time.
  10. It's 1500 LT L83 (5.3 V8) with power everything, heated mirrors, max tow package, cruise, 8in screen with built-in navigation non-bose system. Only features I know it is missing is seat memory (or I haven't found it), back seat entertainment, DVD player, and leather seats. It is NOT WT, LTZ, Z71, or High Country.
  11. Yea, that was my thinking too. Just wondering if it will be just the door harness or if I would have to completely replace the door harness and the dash harness. Some of the early post I saw someone had to basically pull everything and replace with new. But trying to follow one post and several people was taking about few different models it gets to confusing. Plus they was talking about RPO's I didn't have. I am trying to plan it all out so I only have to tear the doors apart once. My power lock motors are shot on the driver side. I have been holding my new HD motors for about a 8 months that I got from https://www.gruvenparts.com/2014-gm-door-lock-actuator-motors/.
  12. I believe it was on your website to [email protected] @ https://harnessdr.com/contact-us/
  13. I am interested in swapping the old style 2014 tow mirrors with the newer 2015-2018? DQS power fold tow mirrors. I want everything to work as if from the factory. I have found several post on other style mirrors being upgraded to the DQS or different model trucks doing the swap. But haven't found a clear guide. Besides the obvious needing new mirrors, new switch what else do I need to order or do for 100% function on this truck?
