  1. I’ve put about 20k miles on the truck and bought it as it sits now. I feel like this would have happened by now if the contact was the issue.
  2. Hey everyone, Recently my truck suffered a broken balljoint on the R/H upper control arm. Luckily, I was about 100 yards away from my house when this occurred. Was going downhill, hit a bump in a left turn at 10ish mph and pop, there she goes. I assumed this issue was associated with the leveled trucks such as mine, with the OEM upper control arms ball joints giving out. I didn’t have time to crawl under the truck and look at the damage extensively as I was with my wife, and had other obligations to get too as the truck was immobile at that point. I got it towed to the nearest dealership to me. However the pictures below is what I found today after getting the truck back. My ballpoints are extremely close as you can see to the tire. This photo is of the side that did not break. The recently repaired side is just as close. Do you guys think the tire is what pushed it apart? The angle on the balljoint does not look extreme at all.
