I have a 1999 Chevy Silverado with a 4.8 l motor it's no good so I want to change it I was wondering what years can I use in a 1999 to where it'll just go right in and also can I use a 5.3 l motor and what would I have to do if I did what would I have to change

I'm replacing my engine in 1999 Chevy Silverado 4.8 l motor what other engines and years where I don't have to change the ECM
