I stumbled on this truck after a friend of mine wrecked it and didn't want to deal with it. I considered tossing everything into a CCLB OBS Ford (7.3 finally died), but am having a hard time finding any information on it. Does anyone know if there's a manual trans that bolts up to it? I read that the trans bellhousing bolt pattern is the same as all other Chevy/GMC V-8's, and that the TH400 or 4L80-E would work. Am I better off keeping the auto because of the transmission input torque limit? Time and skills aren't an issue, just curious if anyone else has played with the idea.
