Following the instructions, “the cover’s aluminum frame should fit just inside the tailgate, within 1/4” when the cover is properly positioned”. When I do this, the front seal does not reach the bulkhead seal that is placed as close to the inside of the bed as possible, before the bulkhead begins to radius from horizontal to vertical . You can make it work by pulling the cover forward, but then you will just be using one of the 3 fins on the tailgate seal. This is the short bed model.
