Replacing the DPF that early sucks. I went the delete route on my previous Duramax and never looked back, much more reliable for heavy towing

Deleted my L5P a while back and it's been running strong. The 4" delete pipe + tune was the way to go for me. Much better throttle response and no more worrying about the emissions stuff

Clogged DPF at low miles is way too common on these new ones. A lot of guys are going the delete route to avoid constant regens and expensive replacements. Worth looking into if you're out of warranty soon
