Make sure the transmission has the new redesigned valve body, otherwise you will be back in the shop in 10k.

I've been notified that the valve body has been redesigned, its on order but i may not recieve mines until late july early August.

They proably dont want to replace the full transmission because it has the same faulty valve body. I would be down with a buy back.

Thats crazy. The valve body has been on back order since 2023, when I had my first one replaced. I think its a defect. GMC is acting like there isn't an issue. Im waiting on my second valve body replacement 34k.

If you are still within warranty, contact GMC customer service. They will start a case and help to expidite the part order. The process is after first contact, wait 2 weeks, and then theu escalate to parts division, within 48 hrs theparts division will contact you to let you know how long. My 48 hrs was Friday, so i should get a call on Monday.

Im supposed to know next week when thr valve bodys will be available. We will see.

I have had the same issue twice now within 34k miles with my 2022 GMC sierra denali. The part is on back order. This is definitely a defect. Everyone should Complain
