    Dealt with this issue in my 2023 Silverado HD 2500 Custom for six months and FINALLY found a competent Chevy service department. Issue was that the park neutral switch was intermittently reading incorrectly not allowing the release of the ignition key. Installed 87846287 SL-N Solenoid (04053-CT). After replacement key comes out every time.
