I have a 2024 2500HD LT. Was on my way back home to Illinois while towing my RV. 800 miles from home couldnt go faster than 54mph.
All kinds of lights on. Limped into campground 2 miles away. Then phoned Chevy dealer 6 miles away and limped it in there.
Code showed fuel pump and some control harness. They replaced those those and got code for a circuit that tested fine. Chevy told them to replace it and still had problems. Chevy told them replace the harness again. Ordered but noone knew where it was coming from or when. Sat about 2 weeks before the harness arrived. They replaced it and still with same problem. Chevy told them drop the Allison trans. Dealer had to wait a week for special tool to drop it.
Waiting now to see whats wrong with the trans.
This started on Apr 9th. Its now May 28th. Im over $2000 in campground and rental fees. Online says Chevy will only refund $500 for stays when over 100 miles from home.
Wheeler Chevy has done what they can but Chevy Corp has been terrible. Had a customer service rep calling me once a week only to tell me they had no way of knowing where parts are and they could call the dealer because the dealer would know before they did.
