THANKS Still seems weird that you cany buy a replacement amp for the kit from Kicker. Plug and play would be nice when there is an issue.

Sorry stereo dummy here. I installed the kicker sub and amp kit last year. It has now died. Just get an occasional rumble out of the sub woofer. I belive its the amp. I tried a different sub with the same results. I called kicker and you can't just buy the amp u have to buy the whole kit. Any issue running the same sub woofer ( sticker on woofer shows 1 ohm) and the enclosue with a different amp if run larger power wire to the new amp from the battery. Plan on using the same line outputs the kicker kit used. (Yellow and yellow with stripe up by the pass front door kicker panel. That's where the kicker kit connected. Also will have to run a remote wire to an accessory powered fuse I belive. Thoughts.?
