  1. To wire them up, the correct way is to use a relay tapped into the DRL to get the signal to turn them on and to power the relay direct to the battery. Otherwise you risk overloading these new system. I haven't had nearly enough coffee yet to try and find a wire diagram of the headlight but Google says it should be a white with yellow stripe wire at pin 6 on the drivers light harness, I would test it first since trusting that AI answer is a gamble. Only thing I am not sure about would be when you use your turn signal since that DRL switches to blinking yellow from the normal always on white. I'm sure someone far smarter will chime in. If you just want to test pins you should be able to find the wire for the running lights fairly quickly.
