I recently had my truck (2014 Silverado) installed with the Katzkin leather seats. In addition to the leather seats, I had their version of heated and cooled seats installed. After installation the airbag light came on. Installer was unable to fix airbag light. He took it to a Chevrolet dealership where he was informed that do to my truck having heated seats installed from the factory the heater control module from the factory contains SRS airbag circuitry and could not be unplugged (unplugged do to not needing when switching to Katzkin's system). The airbag light would go off when the factory heated seats were plugged back in, and then on again when unplugged. Is there a way to work around this? If so, please let me know. Thanks.
