Anyone having issues with the traction control cutting on and applying brakes? Truck is activating brakes & traction control system when turning left. Also, sporadically applying brakes and displays “hill start active” when not on hills. Dealer is waiting on GMs direction- speed sensors, wheel hubs, etc

I’ve been hearing some noise from the steering column when first getting in and turning etc. I thought a message was popping up but could never quite catch it. Today it popped up and said “Service Steering Column Lock” My traction control light keeps popping up and the truck is acting as though it’s losing traction (can feel it in the pedals) when turning left at times. Don’t know if the two are related.

Zane Merva Executive Editor / Publisher, GM-Trucks.com February 13th, 2019 GM only announced the all new 2020 L5P Duramax and 2020 Silverado/Sierra HD models a few weeks ago and we're already finding out more about them. This time Gale Banks has his hands on not one, but TWO L5P Duramax engines and takes one of them apart to explain what's different from the 2019 L5P engine. The video is over 13 minutes long but worth every second. Enjoy!
