  1. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy myself an AIRAID Modular Intake Tube for my 2015 L83 Silverado I was hesitant because i really dont like the stock air tube/box after the filter, but also didnt want to put a full on Cold Air Intake kit, since i like to go off road to he desert in dusty conditions. I made a video about the product and my thoughts on it and its performance, hope you enjoy and someone finds it useful Its pretty much a cosmetic mod, because i couldnt feel it over the Custom DiabLew Tune and the LongTubes/Exhaust Thanks for watching, and if you like my channel please subscribe, it really helps me a lot
  2. Deciding to sell my Airaid MIT. Its about 1yr old. Perfect condition. Will include all the hardware and hoses you need to install it. I had no fitment issues with this product and I'm pretty darn picky. Gives a great sound, cleans up the engine bay. I have paypal and an Ebay account since 2002 should you need reference. $100 shipped to your door. Pics available/will update later today.
  3. I have a gently used Airaid Jr. intake kit. I switched to a AFE kit. $100 plus shipping
  4. So I installed a new airaid mit the other day and after installing it while driving it will go into reduced power mode, at first I thought it was only at full throttle it would do it but now im on the side of the road after it did it at normal throttle. Any idea what could cause this and what I can do about it?
  5. Was pokin around on the Airaid site and found this. Never notice it before on their site. https://www.airaid.com/search/vehicle.aspx I’m guessing they’ll need a 019 or three when they come out? Also be a deal if somebody on here has a 017+Colorado 2.5L or a 015+Z06.
  6. Hey guys I've been talking to a gentleman over at AIRAID named Mark Fowler. He emailed me yesterday telling me the kits are out for the 2014's (MIT and the JR Kits). Finally!!!!!! I ordered mine already!!! Got 10% off and free shipping..... Let him know Cody Helmke sent you. You might get the same deal Here's the email... I just wanted to drop you a quick follow up note and let you know that we have finally released the long overdue MIT & JR kits for the 2014 Chevrolet/GMC 5.3L trucks. The MIT will retail for $169.99 and the JR kits are $219.99 with the oiled filter and $229.99 with the dry filter. If you would like to get one of these on order you can reach me directly at 602-652-9727 or toll free 800-498-6951 Ext. 727. Please feel free to get back in touch with any additional questions you may have. 200-785 Airaid JR kit w/oiled filter 201-785 Airaid JR kit w/dry filter 200-985 Airaid MIT only Mark Fowler Lead - CSR AIRAID Filter Company 2688 E Rose Garden Lane Phoenix, AZ. 85050 P. 602-652-9727 F. 602-652-9827
  7. Selling my Airaid MXP intake off my 2014 Silverado 5.3. Only has about 13K worth of drive time on the intake. Will include all hardware that it came with from Airaid. I will not be removing it til Thursday when my new intake comes in. Asking $250 shipped (firm) to the lower 48 states and will ship in original box it came in. Retails for damn near 400 dollars so low ballers don't contact me. PM me for fastest response. I will clean it up and re-oil the filter before I ship. Will fit 2014+ models with 5.3. Not sure about larger motors. http://www.4wheelparts.com/Performance-Parts/MXP-Series-Synthaflow-Cold-Air-Dam-Intake-System.aspx?t_c=74&t_s=6&t_pt=4555&t_pn=EVE200-285
  8. I have an AIRAID 200-985 MIT intake tube for sale that was on my 2014 Silverado 1500 5.3L for a week. I still have original box, instructions, stickers, and parts and pieces. Pretty much brand new. $100 plus shipping or best offer. Please PM to me if interested. So, why am I selling this? The CAI is just not my cup of tea...I tried the Volant unit and returned it because I didn't like the quality and it was too loud for me. Then I tried the AIRAID MIT because of other members recommendation...It is a nice quality unit and installs nicely. It is not as loud as the Volant, but it seems that all of these units have the same issue for me. There is a louder noise during acceleration than the stock air box which I am used to from other vehicles that I had them on, but there is a "growl" when mildly pressing on the gas pedal which I find annoying. So, I am back to the stock air box. BY THE WAY, I have a Banks Ram-Air that is also listed here to sell. I didn't install it, and it is another great quality product, but just decided the CAI is not my cup of tea.
