We had to look twice to notice it, but the big change is the addition of a new horizontal element running across the top half of the grill. The shape is more upright, like all modern cars. This is most likely due to pedestrian impact standards driving the design. Buick is also adding colors to the new grill insignia. Buick says the new Lacrosse will have a new chassis that is lighter, yet stronger and will also feature a new rear suspension. The body is to be more contoured (sculpted) and inside the emphasis will be on quietness.
