I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy myself an AIRAID Modular Intake Tube for my 2015 L83 Silverado I was hesitant because i really dont like the stock air tube/box after the filter, but also didnt want to put a full on Cold Air Intake kit, since i like to go off road to he desert in dusty conditions. I made a video about the product and my thoughts on it and its performance, hope you enjoy and someone finds it useful Its pretty much a cosmetic mod, because i couldnt feel it over the Custom DiabLew Tune and the LongTubes/Exhaust Thanks for watching, and if you like my channel please subscribe, it really helps me a lot

I currently have the AIRRAID MIT tube with airraid filter installed on my 5.3 but am thinking about replacing it with a S&B intake (potentially another brand complete intake) and am wondering how much of a sound increase I will see. Im a firm believer that loud pipes save lives and would go for a muffler delete but theyre illegal in OH and the cops around me don't have a lot to do. On my Colorado, I installed a K&N and the sound increase was impressive and way greater then the increase on my sierra with the MIT tube but I wasn't impressed with the weather strip seal to the hood and like how the S&B intake has a cover on top of the filter but is way more open then the stock box. Any thoughts?

Deciding to sell my Airaid MIT. Its about 1yr old. Perfect condition. Will include all the hardware and hoses you need to install it. I had no fitment issues with this product and I'm pretty darn picky. Gives a great sound, cleans up the engine bay. I have paypal and an Ebay account since 2002 should you need reference. $100 shipped to your door. Pics available/will update later today.

We can't wait to hear about how style and technology will change the way we use, operate, and buy our vehicles into the future. One of the aspects we'll dive into is asking how close we are to fully self driving cars. Even if the technology was on sale today, would you trust it? Would you buy it? In preparation for the conference MIT is curious what current drivers are thinking about autonomous vehicles. How much would you spend on one? Would you really let one fully take over driving you to work? The survey also asks questions about how you learned to operate your vehicle and how satisfied you are with your vehicles current technology. By answering this quick, informal survey, you'll get a chance to give your opinion to industry partners directly. Fill out the MIT/NEMPA Autonomous Vehicle Survey Here We'll let you know the results of the survey in a couple of weeks. Interested in coming to the MIT Conference with us? Tickets are still available.

I have an AIRAID 200-985 MIT intake tube for sale that was on my 2014 Silverado 1500 5.3L for a week. I still have original box, instructions, stickers, and parts and pieces. Pretty much brand new. $100 plus shipping or best offer. Please PM to me if interested. So, why am I selling this? The CAI is just not my cup of tea...I tried the Volant unit and returned it because I didn't like the quality and it was too loud for me. Then I tried the AIRAID MIT because of other members recommendation...It is a nice quality unit and installs nicely. It is not as loud as the Volant, but it seems that all of these units have the same issue for me. There is a louder noise during acceleration than the stock air box which I am used to from other vehicles that I had them on, but there is a "growl" when mildly pressing on the gas pedal which I find annoying. So, I am back to the stock air box. BY THE WAY, I have a Banks Ram-Air that is also listed here to sell. I didn't install it, and it is another great quality product, but just decided the CAI is not my cup of tea.
