My truck won't pass emissions. It shows "not ready" for the Evap system, catalyst, and an o2 sensor. I drove it for about 500 miles between tests. I got looking at the vehicles history and it looks like the "not ready" issue has been ongoing for this truck? Any ideas?
First post, hoping someone can provide some advice or solution I have a 2016 silverado LT that came with cloth seats. The seats have heating, not cooling. I purchased some leather seats on offer up, I just finished installing them and the drivers seat is not moving... The passengers side works fine, so does the heating option. So I'm wondering if the seat is bad or if my trucks wire harness is not compatible with these seats since they seem to also have cooling. If that's the case, has anyone else done this before? And is there a way to fix this. Another weird thing I noticed is my truck is reading 32° and displays the possible ice on road warning. But it's like 90° outside. So there's definitely something not 100% compatible with mine.
Having speaker problems
Alec posted a topic in 1988-1999 Chevrolet & GMC C/K GMT400 PlatformSo I purchased a 98 sierra 1500. Drove it around for a few days before I realized the front speakers in the door didn't have any sound. So, i did what any other sane man would do, and replaced the speakers. Theres still no sound. The stereo was already replaced with the duel din out of my previous truck. So it's not that. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only thing left to replace would be the wiring correct?
2013 Yukon Denali Seat Height
rusty01 posted a topic in Hybrids, XFE, & Active Fuel ManagementHi there! Man it's been a long time since I been on this site! That rusty 01 is long gone!! LOL Anyway, I have a dilemma, we just purchased a 2013 Yukon XL Denali (kind of a rushed purchase, figured I could deal with the moon roof, I was wrong). My question is, what can I do to get more head room in this thing? Are there any seat mods that can be done to give me a little more room? I am 6'3" and totally uncomfortable driving this beast! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Hopefully someone on here can help me out. I've tried just about everywhere else and nobody else seems to have this problem. My 2000 Suburban is having problems with it's power door locks. Only the driver's side works. I originally thought it was the actuators, but I replaced the passenger side one and the problem hasn't changed at all. Then I replaced the driver's door control switch, but that didn't help either, although it did fix another one of my problems. It seems like the actuators aren't getting enough power and some only seem to be getting power one way (unlock only), while others make noise both ways. Is there a good way to test the other actuators with a multimeter? I'd replace them all but none seem to come with the extra sensor or whatever it is and I also don't think that's the problem. Thanks for any help.
