I've tried searching for this, but came up empty so far. So I'm hoping someone may have seen or heard of this one. For years my 06 Tahoe Z71 4WD 5.3, would properly reset the oil life back to 100%. Now for the last 2 oil changes it has decided that it doesn't want to. On the previous reset attempt it would only reset to 82%. On the most recent Oil Change it only reset to 52%. This isn't really a big problem just quite odd. I did note that when it only reset to 82% that it still took the same 10K or so miles to get down to 0%. Of course when it didn't fully reset the first time I reset it several times all going to only 82%. Now that it's only resetting to 52% I'll have to see how it does.

Twice my 2014 Sierra SLT has a complete shut off. Key fob doesn't work, no exterior or interior lighting. Almost as if battery is dead (battery just replaced less than a month ago). The only way I can get the truck to start is by disconnecting the negative battery terminal, wait a min, then reconnect. Once the battery is reconnected the truck starts and runs fine, no check engine light or errors. I had been having the steering issues but just did the recall yesterday and the shut off still happened after. Im guessing this is unrelated. Anyone have this experience or thoughts to what could be happening?

Poll here for Denali owners. This has been discussed in a few other threads, but I haven't seen a dedicated thread yet. I also wanted to get a feel for how prevalent this problem is. Just a recap - since week one of ownership, my Denali Instrument Cluster resets certain parameters, fields, pages randomly on a semi-frequent basis. It averages about once a week, two weeks at most. I have not been able to determine any triggering event or pattern to the resets, but I have identified two distinctly different issues. Issue 1 - Large Reset This one occurs most frequently. I usually keep my DIC on the Technology Theme and either Trip A or Distance Remaining/AFM page. When this reset occurs, three things happen: A) Theme reverts back to Standard B) Page switches to MPH C) All of the Fuel Economy histories (best 25, 50 400 mile) reset to Zero (I think Hour meter may reset as well, but I haven't used that page in a while) I rarely ever generate a best 400 mile FE average as this reset occurs so frequently. Issue 2 - Small Reset This issue occurs about 20% of the time. I have my DIC pages limited to 4 or 5 most used pages. When this reset occurs, the blank page gets added back into the list (maybe another page as well), and I think it also reverts to the MPG page. This reset does not switch themes or reset the best fuel economy history. I've mentioned the problem to my dealer service once, but they said I was the first person to mention it. I plan to go back again soon for this, but would like to get a feel for how prevalent the problem is. The tech said he was going to have to spend some time on the phone with GM engineers, so I think this would be useful information. Please vote with whether your cluster has this problem. Thanks.

Have any Denali owners had their instrument clusters fixed? If so, how? And for how long? I'm talking about the random reset problems as referenced in these threads: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/156722-dash-info-screen-randomly-resets-all-settings/ http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/160783-denali-owners-does-your-instrument-cluster-reset-frequently/ Just curious as to people's success in finding a solution. Or if you've actually tried to get a fix? Truck13 claims to have his fixed a couple of months ago with a cluster reprogram (OP Code #1031660 ?). But my tech contacted GM engineering and they didn't have a clue. They updated my HMI module and only made my problem worse. I scheduled another service visit and PM'd GM Service Rep Jonathon on here for more help. It's really starting to annoy me and I want mine fixed. Anybody else take any actions? I'm curious as to what people have done or heard from GM with respect to this problem. Thanks.
