The very first GMC HUMMER EV sold this weekend at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale. When the final gavel dropped, the price sat at jaw-dropping $2.5-Million.
General Motors will donate the entire sum to the Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers Foundation.
Bravo to GM for auctioning up the first HUMMER EV and donating it to a worthy cause.
The vehicle featured at the auction was not a production vehicle and VIN 001 will be manufactured this fall.
Other VIN 001 vehicles auctioned at this weekend’s Barett-Jackson were the Launch Edition 2021 RAM TRX ($410,000) and the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-1 ($500,000).
