These clean-sheet powertrains introduce advanced combustion chambers, updated cooling networks, and high-pressure fuel injection systems designed to maximize real-world torque when towing and hauling. While official horsepower numbers and trailering capacities remain under wraps during final testing, GMC confirmed every engine option for 2027 will back up to a crisp 10-speed automatic transmission. - Super Cruise Standard: High-tier models include a standard 3-year subscription to Super Cruise driver assistance. AT4X: Heavy-Duty Off-Road Hardening
For truck owners who plan to push their vehicles to the absolute limit, the 2027 AT4X has been mechanically hardened to manage much higher-amplitude off-road impacts. To back up that mission, the truck steps up to larger tires than the outgoing generation, standardizing aggressive 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT rubber straight from the factory floor.
