GMC is giving us a handful of details about the all new GMC HUMMER EV, including what it looks like, features it will come with and when it will go into production.

What The GMC HUMMER EV Truck Looks Like
We’re getting our first look at exactly what the HUMMER EV will look like. Most apparent, GMC is confirming it’s a truck, at least to start. In the video released we can see the HUMMER EV in various states of design. From clay models to full size bucks and digital rendering, we’re seeing our first glimpse of the how the production vehicle will eventually look like. That said, we’re never shown a 100% clear view of the final design. Just hints and teases.

The HUMMER EV SUV Is Coming Too!
GMC is also giving us direct confirmation that the HUMMER EV will also come as an SUV. One image flashed at the end of the video shows a pre-production SUV variant of the HUMMER EV. GMC also says “SUV production timing to be announced at a later date.” Expect a HUMMER EV SUV a year after the truck goes into production as a model year 2024 vehicle.
When Can I Buy A HUMMER EV?
GMC is officially saying the new HUMMER Truck will go into production in just over one year, in the fall of 2021. That’s a long way off, meaning the GMC HUMMER EV just might be a 2023 model when it rolls of the line. However, you’ll be able to reserve one this fall.
