Last fall, GMC and EarthCruiser debuted a unique and overland specific HUMMER EV Conversion to the world. Last week, the same all-electric luxury explorer sold on Bring A Trailer. And you might be surprised at how much it went for.
When EarthCruiser and GMC teamed up last year to produce a full-featured upfit package for the HUMMER EV, the idea was intriguing. Said to go on sale in 2024, EarthCruiser promised luxury-level camping on an all-electric GMC HUMMER EV platform.
Skip to last week, and EarthCruiser unloaded the apparent one-off overlanding machine on Bring A Trailer for a mere $150,000. While that number isn’t cheap by any means, it’s a bargin for what the buyer ended up getting.

Based on a Edition 1 HUMMER EV which has an MSRP of around $115,000, the EV was then outfitted with a custom EarthCruiser shell, a 605-w solar array, 6-kWh battery, touchscreen control system, shower, pop-up sleep compartment, and a long long list of other camping and recovery equipment. In short- for only $35,000 above what the truck listed for in the first place, the new owner is getting well over $100,000 in added value and custom equipment.
