Exactly one week, almost to the hour, after the highly upgraded 2022 GMC Sierra debuted to the world, we’ve got our first picture of it driving on real roads and outside the confinements of staged photography.

The photos show a 2022 GMC Sierra Denali on local Michigan roads, presumably just outside of GM’s proving grounds. It’s our first look at the new Denali in the real world, on real roads, and under the real sun. It’s also our first look at the regular “Denali” trim level that’s not an “ultimate”.

While nothing is drastically different than the Press Release photos we looked at last week, it’s cool to see the new truck out in the open without any camouflage. Enjoy.
