The 2027 GMC Acadia order guide is officially out, bringing a wave of significant technology and trim updates to the popular three-row SUV.

While the introduction of a new AT4 Reserve Package adds a welcome layer of luxury to the off-road trim, the biggest headlines for the 2027 model year include a massive tech upgrade for the premium Denali and the arrival of a highly advanced interior security camera across the lineup.

Here is the complete, official breakdown of what is changing for the 2027 GMC Acadia.

Super Cruise is Now Standard on Denali

This is the update that will make the biggest impact for premium buyers. For 2027, the Super Cruise Package (RPO Code WQ1) is no longer an optional add-on. It is officially standard equipment on the Acadia Denali.

As we just discussed in our breakdown of GM’s 1-Billion Super Cruise Mile record, the hands-free driving tech is an absolute game-changer for long road trips and daily commutes. Making it standard on the top-tier Denali trim solidifies the Acadia’s status as a premium family hauler and gives buyers one less expensive option box to check.

The Big Tech Addition: An Interior Security Camera

Just like its corporate cousin, the Chevy Traverse (which we detailed in our 2027 Chevy Traverse updates article), the 2027 GMC Acadia is gaining the new Interior Camera (RPO Code UCV).

Forget the standard “baby cam” setup you might see in competing three-row crossovers. GM’s new interior camera acts as a major security and surveillance upgrade. It integrates directly into the Acadia’s surround-view camera system and features a built-in recorder. Even better, it allows you to live-stream the inside of your cabin directly to your smartphone via the OnStar app. Whether you are checking in on the vehicle while it’s parked or just want the peace of mind of a built-in dashcam, this is a massive leap for in-cabin technology.

The off-road-focused Acadia AT4, shown here in its element, can be equipped with the all-new AT4 Reserve Package for 2027. The bundle bridges the gap to Denali luxury by adding Super Cruise, premium Bose audio, and a suite of all-weather protective gear.

The New AT4 Reserve Package

For the off-road-focused crowd, GMC is introducing the AT4 Reserve Package (RPO Code GZ4). This new bundle bridges the gap between the rugged capability of the GMC AT4 lineup and the high-end luxury of the Denali.

The package combines the contents of the Luxury and Super Cruise packages, while also adding a premium 16-speaker Bose Performance audio system with a subwoofer and a unique set of 18-inch Black machined aluminum wheels (RV1).

To ensure the cabin is ready for the trail, the Reserve bundle also comes completely loaded with protective accessories straight from the factory. It includes first, second, and third-row all-weather floor liners, an all-weather cargo mat, and molded front and rear splashguards. By combining all these protective elements with top-tier comfort and safety tech, the Reserve Package turns the AT4 into a true no-compromise trim.

Paint Swaps and Wheel Updates

GMC is keeping the exterior fresh by cycling out two older paint colors and introducing two new ones. Say goodbye to Crystal Metallic (GXK) and Downpour Metallic (GXP). Taking their place are:

  • Ink (G46): A deep, dark blue replacing Downpour.
  • Trailstone Green Metallic (GTM): A rugged, earthy green replacing Crystal Metallic.

Finally, there is a slight tweak to the wheel lineup. The 20-inch Pearl Nickel machined aluminum wheels get a new RPO code (SP5, replacing RTU), though the overall premium look remains.

Under the hood, the Acadia retains its punchy turbocharged 2.5L I4 (LK0) engine, sending 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission. Production is slated to continue at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan alongside the Traverse.
