Why Did GM Issue Recall #N202319030
The tire manufacturer, Continental Tires of the America’s, certain tires sold on the above mentioned vehicles may be “overcured”.
According to Continental, overcured tires may experience a “carcass break” in the sidewall. This condition would cause sudden air loss and/or belt separation. These conditions may increase the likelihood of a crash
Recall #N202319030 Action:
GM has issued a STOP SALE order for any vehicles with effected tires. Dealers will inspect and replace tires as necessary.
Owners can contact their dealer if they suspect they have a vehicle/tire combination that is affected by this recall.
