Oops, almost forgot. Took the truck to Savannah, Georgia today and bought a used seat for my sons 1991 Silverado. Taking the cover off now, and ordering new covers for it. Then put the stock seat back in his truck and take the buckets out that he does not like.
Just got back from Cary, NC. Was visiting a friend, took my Harley up behind the truck in a enclosed trailer. Everything went great except gas mileage. At 80-85 it only got 11.5. And if I ran any slower, I would have gotten run over on I-40 and i-95. LOL
Drove to the other side of town to the new Sunoco station, found out they have 93 octane w/o the ethanol in it. My truck is a happy truck now. And all my lawn equipment and my John Deere are going to be happy as well...
Had to go to Lowes and get a new refrigerator for the garage. Got a black (case) and stainless door. Looks good in the garage.... First thing I have hauled in the new truck.. LOL
Wow, this is all interesting. Mine cuts off at approx 90-92, the traffic out here on I-95 runs that speed all day long. I will get run over. LOL
I would like to raise the limit, however don't want to void the warranty on a brand new truck either. That is the dilemma.....
Whew, truck came with Goodyear Wranglers on it rated 112mph.. They made road noise, so at 42 miles, I changed to Michelin LTX's which are rated at 118mph.
Now, how do I get the limiter raised?? TIA
I just got my 6.2, last week, honestly don't feel like it needs any upgrades. It is a beast.... Love it....
