  1. My 2019 Denali HD with a 6.0L. It replaced a 2012 Silverado 2500HD LTZ with the same powertrain.
  2. I have just over 1800 miles on mine...no melted electrical harnesses behind the dash...and no leaks in the sunroof...LOL..you will like it.
  3. I liked them a lot...I traded in my Chevy for a Denali 2500HD a week ago...and I will put them on this truck when its time for new tires.
  4. I ordered a sunroof in the 05 F-350 Super Duty I had for 7 yrs..not a drop of water leaked in that truck...the 6.0 Powerstroke on the other hand...that’s how Infound my way back to a GM vehicle.
  5. Took delivery of my truck this afternoon. Just got home from a trip to Hartford and I can say the following: I never realized how much I missed the trailer mirrors and the sunroof (just enjoyed having the shade open and the light coming in)...glad I got them. It was also nice to know exactly what I was getting running gear wise. The technology and layout upgrades that have been done since 2012 are also nice. My only gripe is having to take the time to find the proper seat adjustment...my body lets me know by being pain free when that is the case. Have a cap on order for it...got another A.R.E since I had good luck with the one I put on my Silverado.
  6. I went with 265/70R-18 (OEM tire size) after having 285/70R-18 in the Mastercraft. I haven’t been disappointed at all I’m going back to the 265’s.
  7. In 146,000 miles I have had 3 sets of tires on my 2012 Silverado 2500HD LTZ. I got 72,000 on the OEM tires, 65,000 on a set of Mastercraft Courser AXT's and I now have a set of Falken Wildpeak AT/3's on it. I am replacing the truck with a 2019 2500HD Denali in the next few days and going forward I will be putting the Falken on when I need new tires. The traction on wet pavement and in the snow is as good as I have ever seen, and the off road driving I have done with it during hunting season is very good for a on/off road tire. The road noise is excellent as well compared to other tires I have had in the past on my other trucks (General grabber AT2, Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor to name a few)
  8. My 2012 Silverado 2500HD 6.0 has been bullet proof. Outside of regular PM (oil & filter changes, tire rotations, etc...) in 146,000 miles I haven't done anything except 1 brake job, 1 set of shocks and 3 sets of tires (72,000 on OEM, 65,000 on Mastercraft Courser AXT, now have Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's which will be my go to tire going forward).
  9. Have you had issues with a sunroof leaking on a 2500HD Silverado or Sierra in the past or are you going off of other people who have had issues?
  10. It wasn’t that I couldn't find one...it was that my buddy had a hard time getting one from another dealer. He got an email on Sat morning from a dealer that had one coming in that needed something he had and he jumped on it for me. It all worked out fine in the end.
  11. Well 2 weeks is a long time between when you ordered yours and I tried to order mine. Salesman is a friend of mine..actually GM of dealership. He had the allotment ticket for a 6.0 and I literally watched the computer reject the build because there were no more 6.0’s available. In the end it doesn’t matter..I am getting the truck I want. This is replacing a 2012 Silverado 2500HD LTZ with 145K on it with a 6.0 and plow prep pkg. I basically kept what I liked and added what I wanted/needed. I wanted the sunroof ..needed the trailer tow mirrors. Don’t need the extra battery..don’t have it on my Silverado don’t need it on the Denali. I like the cab steps...similar if not the same ones I have on my Silverado as well. The Denali has the 220 amp Alt like my Silverado has as well. I actually like the Cocoa/dark sand interior with the frost white pearl paint.
  12. I agree 100% on my experience...if I had to do it all over again I would have went with the Duramax and probably be getting another one. I just can't justify the $10K option with the increased operating costs.
  13. Just got a call from my dealer...seems as though a dealer he trades with regularly is willing to gave up a 2500HD Denali with a 6.0L Vortec. I was looking for a silver, white or white frost tricoat with black interior. I'm getting the white frost tricoat with Cocoa/dark sand interior. It has all the options I wanted so I'm not gonna complain what so ever.
  14. Thats what the assumption was yesterday at the dealer. He said he has never seen it like this..usually it is the other way around where he gets 4-5 gas engine truck options for every diesel.
  15. As of yesterday morning you can still order a Duramax it was the 6.0L Vortec that was no longer available.
