  1. 2014 Silverado 1500 5.3v8 4x4 LT model in Tungsten Metallic. I love this new color even more than straight black...never thought I would say that! Just installed a 1.5" Procomp leveling kit and pulled my wheels/tires from my old 2007 Silverado 1500 5.3v8 4x4 in black. Tires are Nitto Terragrappler 285/65r18s and wheels are Moto Metal (not sure what model but they are from 2007 so probably not made anymore). I definitely can't wait to black plasti-dip my bowties and tint all around as dark as I can go. Rhino lining next week and I'm still deciding on Husky or Weathertech liners...had the Husky ones in my 2007 and they were magical but the Weathertech laser measured ones are so pretty. Anyone had experience with both? How do the Weathertechs do for spills? I know my Husky liners held pretty much a full soda worth of liquid which was nice but I do like the lower profile on the Weathertechs...I'm so torn! Edit: For anyone looking for tires - I bought these exact tires when I got my 2007 and put 80k miles on them before I had to replace them. I have never had such an awesome experience with any other tires and I got another set that took me up to 128k miles before replacing again. Probably could have pulled another 8k or so out of them but I was crawling steep jeep trails hunting boar so I wanted brand new tread. Almost 50k miles the second time around with a well used vehicle. I'm hoping that they perform just as well on the newer model and I would highly recommend them to every GM truck owner. No noticeable road noise for me and they perform extremely well in off-road environments and on the street.
