  1. Sorry to resurrect an old topic. I experience this intermittently. My issue is that when there is excessive moisture - rain/snow - the gps won’t lock on and will display the no-gps icon. Sometimes the Nav works, sometimes it has me ~5-6 miles away. As the sun comes out, I get gps signal back and all seems well. So do I have a failing shark fin or is something else going on? Would a bead of sealant around the base of the shark fin fix this (or buy me some time)?
  2. Not sure what that will do since the Navi drive is separate from the "entertainment media" drive. It will still display "Not a Navigation disc." To be clear, I am getting this error from the Navigation disc loaded into the Navigation DVD drive,
  3. Hi. I have a 2009 Yukon Hybrid with factory Navigation. I have updated the firmware and maps but recently I have been getting errors that the inserted disk is not a navigation disc. This is happening intermittently. I have tried cleaning the disc as well. Before I shell out for a new navi disc, is there a way that I check to see if the drive is working properly?
