If I purchase the truck at the end of my lease I will probably buy a HID kit but until then they are going to hear me complain everytime I have to go get them replaced. Sometimes it just makes me feel better to complain. Ha
I dont think I should have to pay for a HID kit. Just seen that my drivers side light is out again. I only got 12000 miles out of this bulb - truck just hit 30000 miles. This will be the fourth light bulb that has been in this truck. Bunch of BS if you ask me.
Well after 12 months of the new lights Im back to report that they dont last long. I got 10 months out of my drivers side light and now my passenger is out. Truck has 18000 miles on it so hopefully this next light will also be covered under warranty. What a crock these lights are!!! Calling the dealer tomorrow again to see if they will be covered.
Got my bulbs installed today and definitely could tell the difference. Is it a huge difference I dont think so but it is better than what was in there. I can see off to the side better and the cutoff on the light is farther out than before. Hats off to GM for making it right they could have said too bad and that would have been the end of it but they are trying.
Just purchased a 2015 Sierra z71 a month ago and am not impressed with the lights. So let me get this straight if it was produced after feb of 2015 it should have the new headlights in it from the factory? My 2009 Chevy had way better lights.....
