GM uses an electronic solenoid in its fuel tank that allows air to escape. It's an electronic part that needs to be replaced. Yours is probably under warranty.

That is true, but you probably won't be pulling the push plates until spring.The Western PPs also hang our further than the Fisher.

The western plates sit a lot lower than the Fisher. IMO, Not enough ground clearance when mounted on a 1500.
