I figured out the easiest way to organize your usb/mylink music
There are meta tags for each song (artist, song name, album, etc). You can make a playlist but that can be very titious.
So here is what I do:
1. Load music to drive
2. Make sure each artist has own folder(full band albums) these should show up correctly.
3. For a playlist, make a folder, name it whatver, and put all your songs you want in it. For example i made a folder "singles" and put all my one song favorites in the folder.
4.download id3 tag editor. I used http://www.mp3tag.de/en/(iscanned fir viruses and its clean).
5. Open the program, click file and click directory and navigate to your thumb drive/singles folder.
6. Youll see all your song pop up in the window. Highlight your songlist and on the left you'll see where you can enter the tags. Leave the song names (keep) but under artist and album put singles (or what ever name you want your list). Down a little further is album artist, i put singles here also.
7. Click the save icon. Make sure each song has a name (name of song), uf not you can edit each song, be sure to hit save, dont change artist or album, that should remain your folder name for all the songs.
8. Now when you plug in usb, you'll see a band called (in my case) singles and all your songs (playlist) will be in there!
9. This is nice so you dont have 50 bands on your mylink each with one song.
10. So, i have, singles, singles-oldies, singles-punk, etc. Works nice and keeps your band list on mylink clean.
Hope this helps. Chevy mylink playlist
