Ohhhhhh....I forgot to mention that some engineer from GMC flew in to work on my truck on 2 separate accounts. And they still couldn't fix it!!!!!!!!!!!

Check your local lemon law...I live in Texas and had many issues with my 6.2 liter 8 speed...don't know if you've read my posts but I went through hell the 1st year of ownership. 10 visits to dealership 2 new transmissions 4 new torque converters and TCM modules a total of 58 days in dealership for repairs. I never gave up and documented everything...I was able to get a check back from GMC for 8k....I hired a lemon law attorney 3 months after demand letter was sent to GMC...I had my check in the mail!!!GMC tried to low ball me and only offered 3k back but the lawyer was able to get it up to the 8k..I got to keep the truck the 8k I guess you could say was for all the trouble and headaches I endured that year..I have since traded it...no more GMC!!!!!!!

After speaking to a service manager and he telling me there is no fix for my 8 speed..and it is true there focus is on there new 10 speed..I made the decision after a year of dealing with dealerships and GMC.. to hire me a lawyer...after a 3 month wait I received a nice settlement from GMC..I hated it!!!!!

I wish you luck with the arbitration....been there done that! After 10 dealership visits,2 new transmissions,3 torque converters and countless software re learns.The BBB still sited with GMC. Unbelievable!!!!Even some field engineer worked on my truck which at that time my truck was in the shop for 30 days alone...my truck has been in the dealership a total of 56 days in one year of owning it.The BBB arbitration was a joke some old guy in his 70's drove my truck around the block a hard clunk was felt,when I spoke up in the passenger seat to tell him that's what I feel daily,he said there is no comments to be made during test drive. The field engineer and area Rep. for GMC were in the back seat smiling. So like I said I wish you luck!

HATE IT!!!!!!2015 SLT 6.2 8speed....never has shifted right...hard shifts and clunks...8 times in shop...2 new trannys,...torque converters...and TCM modeles ...hard shifting has improved...but the clunking has not....field tech..worked on it and test drove it for 30 days and 700+ miles
