Depending on your VIN. I tried to do it but apparently my 2016 was a batch of trucks that can't get the upgrade so they credited 200 dls to the price. Whst they told me was thatproduction ran out of computers so there is a run that got a replacement piece that does not allow projection. Chat with chevy online, give them your VIN and they'll let you know if you can get the upgrade or not. If so, it is free. Sent from my SM-G900H using Tapatalk
