  1. I guess I never really thought of it that way. Mine does seem to be a more general vibration, but since I'm connected to the truck through the wheel and my ass I guess I just associated the shimmy shake with the steering. GM will come out with a fix eventually, I'm not going through the weekly dealership visits that others have done.
  2. 70-75 my 17 tries to shake the wheel out of your hands. I take people for rides just to give them a giggle. After reading the horror stories about trying to get it fixed, I'm just going to live with it. Shakes like a wheel is falling off, but funny as hell.
  3. Put it back to stock, it's that simple. Why in the world people change the suspension/steering geometry and tire size and don't expect problems is mind boggling. Computers do everything but steer for you, any deviation from stock and you're playing with fire.
  4. For those of you going the other way and getting rid of the console, here's a cheap way to cover up the missing carpet where the sub-woofer was mounted. WeatherTech is the only company that makes an over-the-hump one piece front floor mat. Husky has the 3 piece version, but it looks terrible. Feels and looks so good not having that huge console in the way.
  5. I'm going the opposite direction and I just got my black leather jump seat from one of the members on here and I have one quick question. Shouldn't I be able to use my existing console harness for the jump seat? The harness is removed from my jump seat, but I don't see why I can't just run my existing console harness up to the connections for the USB and 12v plugs on the new jump seat. If it's long enough, shouldn't it just be plug and play? I realize my Denali has a ton of chit on the existing harness that won't have a home, but I should be have a plug for whatever is on the jump seat. Any of you that went from jump seat to console think your console wiring harness would be long enough to run under the carpet and up into the jump seat? The powered items in the storage portion of the jump seat and the storage portion of the console seem to be in the exact same place. However, I'll have to run the existing console harness under the carpet now instead of through the console. One last thing, anyone that's done the console to jump seat find a place for the subwoofer?
  6. Sorry, I have a Denali and I'm pretty sure I'll need the console back in it if I ever want to sell it.
  7. That's the one. PM Sent.
  8. Any of you gentlemen that did the swap with a black interior interested in selling your lower dash pieces that you had to remove? I have a 2017 1500 Denali with black leather and I am switching from console to jump seat. Also looking for black leather jump seat with white stitching preferred.
