  1. Congrats brother. The first step to H.S. Graduation will flash by. Cherish every moment...and God bless Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I paid 400 for rhino, but that was 15 years ago, so I imagine it has gone up some. By the way the rhino is still holding up. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Hey all, Requesting sone assistance, please? I have a '02 Silverado 2500 HD, 4x4 with the Duramax. I'm going to install a CST 6" lift, and would like to replace my stock brake lines with braided stainless steel. Any recommendations. Thanks. pcpisano Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Nice looking ride and it sounds great. Well done Deanjo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I have a spray in bed liner on my '02 Silverado HD. I LOVE IT, and if I was to buy another truck, I would do the same thing. My only concern with the drop in liner is the possibility of moisture getting caught between the liner and the bed of the truck... hope this helps Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. P.S. I did look at the '17's and got sticker shock big time... e.g., you can buy a small house for the cost of a new truck,... but a wise person once told me, "you can live in your truck, but you can't drive your house..." have a great weekend! [emoji868] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Hey all... I love this site. I learn more here than anywhere else ref my '02 Silverado and p/u trucks in general... I appreciate everyone's comments, good, bad and indifferent. The above truck... bought it new in '02and the plan is to keep for another 10 years...if not longer. Need some major surgery in the front end, ball joints and idle arm... first time I've experienced what I consider a major issue... anyways... always looking forward to everyone's experiences and the great advice; and if I am able to offer advice, I will... thanks all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hey all, just wanted to add my 2 cents... I have an '02 2500 Silverado HD, 171K miles. Used to do heavy towing (boat), but just doing daily driving and very little light towingFirst diesal no major repairs, and love it. Concur with all, and the normal preventive maint is more expensive, but too me worth the cost... as an FYI, I use synthetic oil, every 5K, flush out radiator and transmission once a year., brake, steering fluid, and diff oil on a bi-annual basis.... Except for the maint issues facing me are ball joints, shocks and those types of maint problems (the truck is 15 years young... ) the trucks runs great. Due to its age, my new concern is parts availability... Haven't yet had an issue-but I'm guessing that the machine will eventually need major surgery...not looking forward to that expense. As an FYI, I did look at the '17's... run and drive great, but the cost was like buying a small house... so I will drive this one till it bites the dust--another 5 years, and another Duramax.
