Hello, I got a 2023 Chevy 2500 Custom (6.6 gas). My question is I’m tired of having dealership do my oil when I’m more than capable. I love Amsoil on my old diesels but unsure what you all think? I get a discount from them so cost is fine and also what filter? Amsoil on that also? I’ve read alot about catch cans on these motors? I had one on my old Cummins but I’m failing to see why on these? Should I add that to my list also? I’m at 11k miles

My 23 Custom has the basic 7” screen and i absolutely hate it. I’ve read everywhere that you can’t upgrade a thing with the radios so seeing this spiked my interest…but $1,200 is a chunk without knowledge on how good this is

Just buy standard upscale take off units. they are out there and the cost are getting better. you can most likely get a pair for the $600 range: I am not associated to the above, Just showing it as a reference of today pricing on Ebay. I upscaled a few years ago. So how do these work? Does the DRL plug and play because with the Custom model I don’t have standard drl other than the halogen lights. I read somewhere you buy upgraded lights I need to flash the system at a dealeriahip

So I’m looking for input from users who have these lights. I’m looking at the XBs for $1200…I’ve read some reviews that the lights turn yellow or get dirty lenses in less than 2 years. Any truth to this? I hate reviews on random sites so figured I’d ask actual drivers on here. Thank for the help

The dealership won’t even offer the oem lights that come on higher end trims?! I’ll install them to one of the 5 aux switches I don’t care…but I rather have stock ones over aftermarket

Help me out here….I have 23 Silverado custom and I’m looking for the stock oem fog lights to add on. Obviously they make them, I’ve seen them on higher end trims. My local dealer says they can’t find them and I have tons of GM points I’d like to use lol So is it my dealer or what?

So…I saw one post about this awhile back and can’t get a response so I’m asking here on a new thread. My 23 Custom has the plain steering wheel and only cruise control left side buttons. I miss my one out of the trail boss. I also hate the dash…is it possible, without “breaking the bank” to change the wheel and maybe the dash from a High Country? I know the new dash cluster is needed for the buttons on the wheel, but what my radio? I have the 7in screen one

Well…I love the look of the updated lights no doubt. I did look at upgrading the bulbs but read the drls will burn those out fast. I was unaware of this harness you speak of, I think the parking lights as drl would be kinda cool. Link for this harness? I checked that site and I’m not seeing this? I’m probably just missing it…as for the new lights you have…you have the upgraded stock or morimoto? And did you get the high end morimoto or regular two led lights? Love to see a pic

So I’ve looked and looked and since it’s so costly for bulbs and deleting my drls on my 23 custom…I’ve been looking at headlights. I noticed morimoto comes highly recommended and I see there is two kinds. One is $1200 and the other $1800. Both are out of my price range lol but…I’m leaning towards the basic model (halogen signals) anyone have these? Or is the upgraded version best? I’m just looking for good lights and drls

Good to know, thank you very much! I do like the factory fog light look, nice and clean. I’ll definitely have to wire it all up, and I know now what that bag of wire harnesses is under the back seat lol

Ok well thanks for checking! Kind of a bummer because I was hopeful those day time runners would turn off. I know I can turn the knob and turn them off manually, but I’ll forget a lot and I rather not shave life off them with that crap. I’ll probably order them, they look good. Maybe there’s a way to permanently disengage the drls

I was looking at the Lasfit pros actually, the H11 for the regular beams. The customer service there said plugging them in will disable the DRLs? I hate day time runnings anyway but I don’t think that’s accurate unless you can shed some insight?

Hello everyone. So I bought a 23 2500hd and traded in my 20 trailboss. I had lots of nice features on that truck and accessories. I don’t plan on going all out on this one but minor issues I’d like to upgrade. I would like to add the z71 skid plate as I’m on a farm and corn stalks are no joke. It helped alot on mt last trucks and not sure if I can add that? I also noticed the headlights on my truck now are very yellow compared to my trailboss. I have the custom trim now and looking if there is an easy, reliable led bulb that is ok for daytime running also? I can’t afford a whole new light housing….also, I couldn’t find one with fog lights so I see the area they should be…can the stock one be added? Or anyone do differently? Pictures, links or ideas would be much appreciated! Thank you

Well glad to hear it’s “normal” now to decide if I want to try and make the leaf noise go away with rubber strips or leave alone. I read some guys had the noise go away after 1000 miles or so and I’m only at 88 so I got time lo. The steering is so odd, mine is a Custom trim so I don’t think I have that digital assist but it’s definitely noticeable

Long story short, I traded my 2020 trailboss for this truck and I’m pretty happy minus a few luxury items missing. I’ve noticed that slow speeds turning or where the truck bed shifts, I hear a pop and I don’t like it. I’ve read maybe just the leafs doing it and a piece of rubber will fix it? Also, I notice with no music on, truck running, I hear a hissing sound from the steering wheel…hard to explain but it changes when I turn the wheel and sounds like a hydraulic line!? Normal?? Any insight because I know dang well what the stealership will say and I don’t want to go through it all if it’s actually normal. Thanks

No the cover is off mine and I see the holes however the ones that line up with my plate the screws provided aren't being held by anything. The screws just spin and won't hold the plate

Hello, I have cut all ties with my beyond horrible dealership already and now noticed they sold it to me without a front plate bracket ( which is a law here in Ohio). I have a the cover but I need a plate so is there a bracket through GMC? None of the holes now line up so assuming there has to be something else that goes there.
