I am installing aftermarket cab marker lights on my 2006 WT. Where can I tap into a circuit for power to them? I would like them to come on with the parking lights but would like to tap in somewhere before the flasher.
Mine did the same thing. It turned out till be the distributor cap. The traces for plug 1 and 2 run right next to each other and sometimes burn through.
I used a fuse tap like this https://www.amazon.com/15Amp-circuit-Adapter-XDODD-Holder/dp/B01GFWS288?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_13 Works like a charm. But why would you want your backup camera on all the time? I power mine from the backup lights so it is only in when the truck is in reverse. But I have the monitor powered by that tap.
Hello everyone. I want to install an overhead console in my 2006 WT Regular Cab. I am having a difficult time finding the bracket I need. (GM Part #15711473) I have run into dead ends at every dealer I can find online and at my local salvage yards as well. Does anyone have one that they would be willing to part with? Or does anyone know of one of their local salvage yards that might have one? I would be more than willing to pay for the part, shipping and for your time and trouble in locating one for me. Thanks in advance for all your help!
I want to install an overhead console in my 2006 Silverado 1500 WT. Does anyone know if the bracket for the console above the headliner would be there if the truck did not come with the console from the factory? Or can it be purchased separately if not?
Hey everyone. I am looking for a programmable flasher unit for my 2006 Silverado WT. I am specifically interested in adding the lane change function to the truck. So when you press down on the turn signal they blink 3-5 times and then shut off. I found a few such as the Easy Flash but they all seem to start with the 2007 models.
