As we all know, the stock projectors for the SLEs are complete garbage. I have a set of HIDs in them right now, but the beam pattern is garbage. The stock halogens almost seem to be better in them even though the HIDs appear brighter. I was wondering if anyone has found a good HID or LED kit for these projectors, or if anyone has found a good set of aftermarket headlights that work well. I do have 35% tint on my windshield, but I have had that on all of my other vehicles and never had a problem before. I would love to get the SLT or Denali headlights, but I can't get myself to drop over $1,000 on headlights. Gotta color match the bumpers before I can spend that on headlights. Just want to see what other people have done and hear some suggestions, Thanks!
Did the Superchip deactivate v4 mode as well? I need to get some sort of tune to get my truck adjusted to the new rims and tires as well, but I want to get something that will disable v4 mode at the same time. I am between doing a chip or getting a tuner
I think the 285/60 will rub because they are 33.5" for height. I think anything of 33" will rub. I think 295/55 is the biggest you can go without rubbing. I've seen a couple people go 305/55 and rub a little bit.
I am running a rough country 2" leveling kit up front, and I put 295/55/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my truck. I have done some light off roading in mud/dirt and snow, and they hold up very well. Also very quiet on the road. My rims are 20x9 with a -12 offset. No rubbing or trimming at all.
