  1. Just did the Denali instrument upgrade in my 2018 GMC SLT and many thanks to Chris White for offering this service. Just want to know from either Denali owners or those that have done the upgrade is the follow message normal or and error and just need to ignore it. It happens when I turn my key on but not in the run position and when I turn the engine off. Thanks Gene 75% of firefighter are 100% volunteers
  2. She drives her truck and I drive mine, case closed. LOL She doesn't like my truck since it is too high tech for her. She like here simple truck.
  3. The damage to her truck (2012 Silverado) was a little over $4900 and we have a $500 deductible. Hopefully sometime mid January I can order the Denali upgrade.
  4. I was wanting to installed the Denali dash upgrade and my question is that when you are displaying the digital speed can you display the speed limit sign next to the digits like my standard SLT cluster? See my picture to see what I am talking about. On my dash when the speedo is displayed is a right arrow and on the steering wheel controls you press the right arrow button and select weather so display or not display the speed limits sign. I know on the option list you can select to show the speed limit sign but I don't want to have constantly scroll down to see the current speed. Thanks Gene Capt. 5. I am interested also. I do not like the capless system on 2018 Sierra. On 2017 Silverado work truck I have had the fuel nozzle get stuck twice.
  6. I have a 2018 Seirra 1500 personal and a 2017 Chevy Silverado work truck with the capless fill system. Has anyone removed the capless neck and replaced it with a capped system. The other day a Casey's gas station the gas hose got stuck in the 2017 and it took about 10-15 minutes to wiggle around with nozzle and it finally got the fill hose out. That is my biggest grip about the capless is possible and did happen stuck nozzle. I have track down that 2015 and older has the capped system and I want to change out the fill neck and gas cap. Anyone done this yet? Gene FF and NREMT 75% of firefighter are 100% volunteer
  7. Happy New Year. I have just joined this group as my wife the in November said let look at a new truck for you. I was out the door. She drive a 2012 Silverado crew cab and I now have a 2018 GMC Sierra SLT. Now I also was given for free my granddaughters 2001 S10 Blazer Xtreme. It is in great shape with only 138800 miles. I did have to seriously clean it up, replace the battery and stuck open thermostat, otherwise every thing on the car works. This will be the wife and I play toy. I am looking forward to reading and exchanging information, tips and tricks Gene EMP Firefighter and NREMT 75% of firefighter are 100% volunteer
